Although I could only attend the Web 2.0 conference in the most basic way possible -- but free! -- it seems that I'm not the only one that's disappointed with Apple's stance on Flash.
...but no matter. After sitting in an extremely brief presentation by Adobe for Flash CS5 features, I can say that I'm all excited again. The topic of the presentation was for multi-touch and accelerometer functionality in Flash, and it's incredible. Most of the dirty work was handled by the script, so it was just a matter of calling the right operators, and ka-pow; a tilt game! Flash also came with an emulator, so you can observe the behavior of the movie on most displays, even HDTV's.
I guess it's time for another upgrade. I don't think I've ever been more excited to type that.
