Sony Mentions Something, Press Resumes Playing 3DS
When you look at the coverage of E3 today from a gestalt perspective, you'd be surprised to find any mention of Sony's press conference. It's a slight exaggeration, of course, but it's difficult to ignore the impact that the 3DS has caused throughout the industry. It was enough to overshadow any "Wii-too" announcements from the competition, and that was no easy feat. Despite the PS3's (ahem) move towards 3D, more details on their motion controller, some nifty sequels -- with another GT5 announcement -- and Gabe Newell's shocking about-face towards Sony's "disaster" console, all this was eclipsed by a 5 inch piece of plastic with some (ahem) game-changing features.
